KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 169,710 children aged between five and 11 years, or 4.8 per cent of their population in the country, have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine as of Sunday (Feb 13).
They were given the vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) which was launched last Feb 3 and will receive the second dose within an eight-week interval.
